Dr. Rights decided on a career in optometry early in life — in fact, she knew it was her calling the moment she put on her first pair of glasses! She completed her undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University (Go App!) and studied abroad while circumnavigating the globe on a ship. Dr. Rights earned her Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 2015 and “Booneranged” as quickly as she could, returning to the High Country and Blue Ridge Vision in 2017. Dr. Rights has earned recognition for her awards and accolades within the field of optometry, including graduating from both national and state-level optometric leadership programs. She loves spending time with her family, exploring the great outdoors, gardening, baking, and traveling.
